Mangoes (A Children's Poem) Poem by Rajesh Thankappan

Mangoes (A Children's Poem)

Rating: 5.0

Mangoes, mangoes,
Dangling down the tree,
Come and fall off
With the breeze,
We shall have them
Ripe and sweet
Mangoes, mangoes
A hot summer's treat.

One might feel it is easy to write poems for children. Believe me, it is not. I've tried, and it is harder still. Mangoes, mangoes Ripe and sweet, A hot summer's treat, beautiful, dear poet.

Mango trees are dangling down and children are dancing in joy. They are feeling the breeze. An interesting poem is very well penned.10
