Manevil Poem by Hime Hiroda

Manevil

In the image of the creator
Yet so different
Ambitious yet limited
Free but enslaved.

War for peace
Violence for rectitude
Rationality – I think not
Absence in all is fault.

Angelic, fragile – ephemeral
Is it true?
Fallen from heaven,
They’re all but outcasts of Eden.

Loved but unloving
Is this a creation of God?
Malicious, malevolent, manipulating
These are the names of men.
