Man In Blue Poem by Mary Roach

Man In Blue

Who is he the man unknown
Break his bounds and set him free
He’s waiting for truth to be shown

He stands tall yet all alone
Closed up heart for none to see
Who is he the man unknown

His face shines with a longing tone
Glimpse of love is his plea
he’s waiting for truth to be shown

he needs someone who’s all his own
I come to rescue him, only me
who is he the man unknown
he’s waiting for truth to be shown

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

Interesting, I think most people associate police officers with the 'man in blue' image. Still, I would say that makes this poem all the more appropriate.
