Maelstrom Poem by Ima Ryma

Maelstrom

In a strange house I find myself.
So looking for some food I go.
In the dark I check out a shelf.
A door opens, a gust does blow.
Into a bathtub I do fall,
And I find it hard to get out.
The sides are so slippery all,
Just have to be patient no doubt.
Time goes by longer than I planned.
Then comes a new phenomenon.
I see above a human hand.
A blast of water is turned on.

Into drain maelstrom I'm swept there,
This spider not knowing to where.
