scene 2

Siegfried is startled awake by his nightmare. He is now eighty one, and is bedridden at Heytesbury House with terminal cancer. His room is big and white. The view through the windows overlooks the manicured garden and lawns of his estate.Around his bed are countless cardio and I.V units. It is nineteen sixty seven.

Siegried realizes it was just a dream and begins to fall back asleep.
