In bright and beautiful hues
Warmth nestles in a lovely face '
Innocent, unknowing still,
Oblivious of reality,
Born of me yet apart.
Bright and beautiful as a sun flower
Blowing softly in a May breeze'
All the love the heavens hold
Enfolded in her tiny arms.
Mine own yet separate,
My world, my daughter.
My poem, my lyrics evermore'
My sunbeam, moon ray, stardust.
