Lunch Poem by anthony henriques

Lunch

the eyes have gorged
on all your wonders
digested every nuance
creating an electric storm
of neuro transmitters
fusing all rational thought

adolescent waves
crash against hard
craggy rocks

but appearences must be maintained

the stupor
of a well fed python after
lunch
