Lunar Eclipse Poem by Steven Elsner

Lunar Eclipse

Moonlight shooting from the night sky,
Landing lavishly in your eye,
Grey mixed with green,
A most beautiful sight to be seen.

As the moon fades to black,
The stars fall off their track,
And they dance for us,
They took a chance for us.

Let it not go to waste,
Let us act in haste,
For we'll never know,
If we don't go.

So let the moon light our path,
We'll let the stars do the math,
Because you plus I,
Equals a love brighter than the night sky.
