Lullaby Of Lullabies Poem by Shaun Cronick

Lullaby Of Lullabies

Rating: 5.0

Lullaby of lullabies,
Played softly for you.
Now that you're tired,
And so sleepy too.

Rest your weary head now,
On a pillow soft as you.
Close your eyes gently,
Your dreams will shine through.

Sleep little princess,
Dream of angels with wings.
Of playful puppies and pixies,
And all sorts of things.

Snug as a bug now,
Magical kingdoms await you,
To sprinkle you with stardust,
And make your dreams come true.

Thank you Rose Marie for your kind comment. As I said to Jason the idea came from Hushabye Mountain from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang sung by Van, which is a beautiful, beautiful bedtime lullaby for any child. And I thank you again good Rose Marie.
