Note: I was inspired and wrote this poem today in the haiku style of poetry with thoughts of very ancient times when people joined together to survive and thrive and insure a future for the generations to come. These myths, legends and stories of heroic sacrifice can be found in all cultures on all continents. Something lost when viewing the modern world and the current state of affairs.
