Loving Friends Poem by Sandra Feldman

Loving Friends

Rating: 5.0

I simply write,
Words are my friends,
Not birds in flight,
I cling to them,
They warm my life
With feelings deep,
So many memories
I must keep.

We travel close,
My words and I,
They are my hanky
When I cry,
An so I try
To pay them back
With all the love
That they deserve,
I care for them
As for a child,
So sweet, so tender
And so mild,
I write them down
And we, converse
As friends would do,
On themes, diverse.

For a poet, words and the pen are his very close friends. Beautiful. Please kindly check my poems HOPE and THE BEAUTY OF DEATH and leave your comments.
