Loving A Stranger. Poem by Christina Simmons

Loving A Stranger.

Rating: 3.0

Mummy says, don't talk to strangers!
Daddy says, listen to what mummy says
Think about what you're doing
Move slowly!
Get to know the stranger
Yeah! Yeah!
Mummy says, don't rush
Keep away! Keep away!

Daddy says, uh-huh!
Don't give your heart away…
Not to strangers! It can be broken
Shattered a thousand places
Pieces you can search for
Never find…only reawaken.

Stop! Watch your steps!
Think about the stranger!
Listen to what mummy says,
Don't rush! No! Don't rush!

Listen to your fragile heart
Listen to the beat
Sounds sweet and mellow
Easy does it! Easy does it
Don't break your heart
Don't break your heart
Don't let it beat out of tune

Let it go! let it flow
Let it move to the rhythm of the beat,
Yeah! yeah!
Let it love! let it love the sweet whisper
of the gentle breeze
Removing the golden armour
Let it breathe…
Let it be free! It wants to be free!
Aha... aha... aha.

See the rosé! Admire the rose!
The petals are gentle and soft
Don't crush the rose! Easy does it
Gentle touching… ever so slowly
Whispering sweet nothing!
Only the sweet Sound of the rose
Smelling the fragrance!
Gently and softly easy does it…
Yeah! Yeah!

Mummy says, take time don't rush!
Don't talk to strangers
Daddy says, uh-huh!
Listen to what mummy says,
Think about what you're doing
Yeah! Yeah!
Mummy says, keep away! Keep away.
