Love's Labours Lost Poem by David Wood

Love's Labours Lost

Rating: 5.0

I look up at the lonely stars
Wishing you were here,
The same stars you look at.

I look up at the moon shining down
Those same moonbeams you see,
And wish you were here.

I walk the nighttime streets alone
Wishing you were here next to me,
But you are not, and I am lost.

It's not to my late wife but someone else here.
