Love Tarts Poem by John Sensele

Love Tarts

If only I could love her again
I'd give her the very best
My heart could give her in the rain
To cuddle her tight chest.

If only I could see her face once
I would smile forever
Hug her, tug her, bug twice
Hold her in a love fever
Ready to tug her mini dress.

If only I could tell her how much
I miss her soft nothings
Shared to keep in touch
With a zillion puppy love things.

If only we could meet at the count
Of three to tune two hearts
Like clockwork on a mount
Primed to bake love tarts.
