Come and rest here with me.
Look up and burry yourself in the skies.
Float up from the ground
And forget your earthly ties.
Forget the words of wisdom
You never wholly grasped.
Forget the tattling crowds
With their words so crude and daft.
Come and rest here with me.
This place I offer floats in eternity.
When we have both departed
We will drift together forever and be free.
Free from the pain we now feel,
Caused by the confusion of life.
Free from anger of this awful shock.
No more darkness; only light.
Come and rest here with me.
Each moment will pass undetected.
Time does not matter here; just us,
And our love will keep us protected.
