Love Restaurant Poem by Madelene Calalo

Love Restaurant

Rating: 5.0

Can you give me just a taste of love?
But not the whole plate of it.
Serve me with your finest dishes
But don’t fill me to the lip.

Just a little smack would do
To wake me up from these delusions.
Just a little sip would do
To warm me with cool sensations.

How long would I have to wait
For my order to be served.
My table's neat and ready.
Everything’s all set.
You’re the only one I’m waiting for.
So come and bring it on!

If it would take you too long
to give me just a taste.
It’s alright. I’ll patiently wait.
Who knows? It might be worth the stay
And I’ll like it all the way. XD
