Be still, my sweet
Until again we meet
Be quick, my feet
And return me to shore.
Your tender kiss
I'll surely miss
With you is bliss
I'll love you evermore
Your soft caress
Your flowing dress
My life's a mess
When you are not near
Distance like a tiger bite,
Give any thing for your sight
Your beauty is my light
So dark when you aren't here.
