Love On The Border Poem by Rajendran Muthiah

Love On The Border

When he met her, a smile hovered on her lips.
"Have you had fought in the warfield? ".
"Soon I will be sailing in the naval ships! ",
he said curtly and to her grasp he did yield.

His eyes made amoral visits into hers.
The rumbling thunder tightened the embrace.
As the calyx loosens and the bud flowers
his desires burst and made him sink in her grace.

Her mother's warnings quaked her a little
and her sleepless scruple pulled her away.
His ship of joy without anchor broke brittle.
He bent his head for not keeping heart at bay.

His eyes lost the look of love for sorrow
and he won't be falling blind from tomorrow.
