Love Me Tender Love Me True
once i said these words
and you loved me so
time betrays true hearts
lovers fall out
like snowflakes from
oaks
now i do not bother saying
these
but how i wish to be back
there
under the cloak of the night
the jewel moon
for given the chance
i must say these words again
how swiftly the wings of time fly
how hollow are the structures of words
the termites finally win
