Love Me Again Instead Poem by Rabi Anata

Love Me Again Instead

Rating: 5.0

No more break-ups or useless fights
No more quiet lonesome nights
No I can't drown the sound of critters outside
Without a voice like yours in my ear
No I can't find a place to go and hide
When I get tired of the recklessness here
There was only your house that was next door
That I could crash and feel better again
But it isn't open to my visits anymore
Because things aren't like they were back then
I do not understand how I get along through the day
Not seeing your face smiling my way
So let's be faithful for awhile
And make the moments we have worthwhile
Because I suffer from missing you every day of the week
And the distance is making me terribly weak
Oh change your mind about all that you said
And choose to love me again instead
