Love Lost

When Love is gone,
There's Nothing left,
Life in you, does not shine,
You're empty like a hollow tree,
With no fruit on the vine,
The sadness that you feel today,
Will, just forever with you stay,
And then you die a bit each day,
When love has gone away.

Must be the winter. So many broken hearts while the snow fall! But the Spring is coming and fast for your heart. (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Henry David Thoreau

My books I'd fain cast off, I cannot read,
'Twixt every page my thoughts go stray at large
Down in the meadow, where is richer feed,
And will not mind to hit their proper targe.
