Love Lifted Me

I’m so sorry I’m so sorry
Sorry that I could not cover you
My love just wasn’t there for you
You hurt me so I hurt you that’s all I knew
Abused broken and confuse
That’s how I left you
That’s how I left me too
Now I’m better
You see what it is
I found this book and inside it was a story
This was a love story
In the beginning, there was love
In the end, there was love.
I heard a man name Jesus said he loved us
His death was so unjust
But he did it just for us
He took it all the way to the cross
The truth is I never really loved you
Truth is I never really loved me
But Jesus said forgive thee
So please forgive me I desire to be free
I don’t want to lust no more
I would love to trust people more
I found liberty and the keys was in this love story
Please believe me when I say
There is a better way.no longer shall I walk in sin
I now can breathe again. he said I’m born again
No longer slave to sin he paid a praise so grand
I never knew a love like this before
he saved me when I was drowning in anger
fear had overtaken me
violators had trespass on my most private property
so excuse me if I sound a bit insane or look so filled with joy that’s overflowing
I can’t contain it I found love and it lifted me
So let it lift you. Don’t let your situations out weight you
He did it for me and I was so un worthy
All I can tell you today is try Jesus just give him a try
At the end of the day when you are in that quiet place
He is listening and waiting for you to call him so he can have his way
When nothing else would work
When no one else could help me
Love lifted me
