Love Letter To God Poem by Naveed Khalid

No one else except you
can be in this state of mind;
and who will understand
that there is no one awaiting you
other than you in my dull rhyme,
while I, to whom thy love
moves me no more in the sunshine,
nor a shadow that a child follows,
be but a long-forgotten time of thy untread feet,
soon as the sun sets behind the mirror
at sunset of the evening sky, I shall write thee more.
