My love,

Love is not a game
We don't roll the dice
There's no winning card
Love is the merge of
Two hearts into one

Love is not a battlefield
The world outside is hard enough
Love is a safe haven of tenderness
A mutual bond of caring and faithfulness

Love is not to be taken for granted
It is not sugar coated words chanted
Nor feeling always enchanted
Love is deeds of commitment
Compassion and compromise

Love is not them, love is you and I
Love is you, your heart, my paradise
Love is us, meeting at the crossroad
Of destiny, moving ahead as one for eternity
