Love Is Born Poem by Bakare Oluwagbenga Michael

Love Is Born

There comes a day when a precious Jewel of God is bestowed upon mankind;
Causing the Angels to feel jealous of humans;
Tempting them to nurse the thought of becoming like us;
Even for once, just to get a feel of this Jewel.

There comes a day when a family is graciously decorated with a really bright star;
The brightest of all stars, yet transparent enough to see through;
Bright enough to sprinkle the world with unprecedented love;
Making friends and foes set aside their differences to celebrate together;
Such is the birth of the most noble among nobilities.

Even the host of Angels now rejoice and praise God with man for the Saviour has come;

Let every man celebrate because blessed is he who rejoices like the host of Angels for the sake of the Son of the Most High...

Merry Christmas!
