Love, Geometrically Poem by Martin A. Ramos

Love, Geometrically

together we two
masculine arms stretching, reaching
feminine arms embracing, caressing
both creating

parabolas of love

the surf strains to touch us
waves smacking and cracking
wet with wonder
we merge, we fuse

one straight unbisected line

spindrift our gaze
airy planes of light, cloud ellipses
soft circles of moon and stars
diamond sand, we form

one straight unbisected line into infinity

An interesting conceit, Martin. I like the metaphor. Good write. Hugh
