I paint a picture of us in my mind
And I caption it "My future"
Baby, if you're thinking just the same
Aren't you one lovely mind reader?

You give me your love, I give you mine
Eye to eye and hand in hand
A pair of parallel lines side by side
That's two sets of footprints in the sand

And one day after all the walking
I'll fall down to my knees but I'll be fine
'Cause I'm not tired of this journey
I just want to ask you to be forever mine

When I finally slide a ring onto your finger
And make an oath to always love you
That picture I painted of us in my mind
I caption it as "A love come true"
