Love Came So Quietly Poem by Sasanka Sekhar Panda

Love Came So Quietly

Keeping me completely unaware
love came so quietly,
when in my backyard garden
smiling zinnias were swinging
in the air,
when humming birds
were chirping and playing on the grass
and a rabbit was winking in the bushes,
playing hide and seek,
my pet puppy
was chasing the butterflies merrily.

Love came so quietly
I could not know,
spreading its aroma
in the vast expanse of the tulips,
in the magnolia garden bed,
quietly in the smiles of lilies
Love came in gentle footsteps
opening the rosebuds
with its tender touch,
Love came so quietly with a
pleasant smile,
and by entering into my heart
it filled my life
with boundless joy.
Love came so quietly.

So quietly. Like a sound dream. Nice piece of work.
