Love And Oppression Poem by Raghurama Raju

Love And Oppression

A bright butterfly
landed on a colourful flower
to suck its nectar!
The feeble stem of the flower
bent low and swayed under its weight!

A robust rooster chased a hen
held its crest with its powerful beak
and pressed it down to the ground!

The flower and the hen repented
"If love means authority and oppression
we never want it in our lives! "
