Have you ever been in love?
I can say I have been in like
Yeah I have liked a few
I can say I have been in lust
I have had lusty g=feeling for some
I can say I have been in confusion
About a few
Yes, I believe I have confused myself
Over others
Oh. These feelings
How they come and go
How they affect me so
Sometimes it's hard to know
Now love… love may Have escaped me.
Or is it the other way around?
Perhaps I have been avoiding
This implication or is it application?
I just can't understand this.
Love… is scary
To lose myself
In this overwhelming emotion
To relinquish myself to another
Throw caution to the wind
To allow myself to
Do every and anything for that one
Am I ready? Will I ever be?
Can I let adoration?
Take me over
Am I prepared to
Know another's scent
For them to know mine
At what cost will I surrender?
Whether it be like'
Lust and confusion
I must say no.
