Lost Without You
Oh, love of my life
How drearily slow
The hours pass,
Without you!
How listless
With no meaning
Are my days,
Lifeless flowers
That so quickly
Fade away
Without you.
My lonely life,
Without reason
Without rhyme
A stagnant wound,
Without you,
Deep loneliness,
Affectionless,
Void openness
Lack of caress,
Without you.
However,
Your pure spirit,
My remembrance
Of you,
Are in every verse
I write you
And in every breath
I take,
I hope you know
I love you so
Even though,
I've always been
Without you.
