I tried to make it different with you
I tried to be a better person
I tried to let you know you meant a lot to me
Was I to know I was playing it all wrong?
I know Im not perfect baby, I could never be
And all that I did -I thought I had to
But no -its all become different
I probably am the biggest joke now,
The one your friends would laugh at, even jest of
And have resolved to keep the distance hence
Knowing how much Im hurt from within.
