Lost Love. Poem by Sabrina Perry

When you look in my eyes, I can see you searching for her.

When she left, you left, but not in the way anyone would asume.

When I look into your eyes, I can only see the emptyness inside, for your soul has gone searching for her, your lost love, never to reurn to me.

Before her, you lit up my day, but now the light is gone and I'm left in the darkness, Alone. Yet again.

It seems that everytime I open up my heart, it always gets shot down. The bullet peircing me where it hurts the most, my excruciating screams being the only sound.

Knowing you, knowing the way you made me feel, I never expected this. Little did I know, you'd hurt me more than any of the others.
