Lost Friendship Poem by Brooke Luchich

When we said friends forever i actually thought it was true
but i soon realised that it wouldnt last, me and you
i cried alot and sometimes i still do
but i cant help but wonder do you cry over it too
we shared alot of good memories but also the sad
but we always helped each other with the problems we had
the first time we met we didnt get along
but over time we built a friendship that was so strong
i wish almost everyday that our friendship never fell apart
that we could go back to the happiness we shared at the start
sometimes i even wish i could turn back to the good times
then i wouldnt have to remember them by putting them in rhymes
as i go through each day i know i'll never forget you
because you can't throw away a friendship so true
i'll always love you that is a promise i will keep forever
and i swear i wont forget a single thing about you..never
