Lost & Found Love Poem by Mark Anderson

Lost & Found Love

Rating: 5.0

Lost:

Notes in a bottle cast into a sea,
By a forgotten and lonely man.
My love lay trapped; lost and forsaken,
As ripples of ancient tidal sand.

Adrift and apart I've roamed aimlessly,
Without love received nor to send.
Praying my journey within this ship,
Shall reach a final end.

Found:

Raindrops fall from heaven above,
God's destiny have thus assign.
Sunlight breaking through the clouds,
Floats glistening upon a sea of time.

Eternity passes but finds a single soul,
To bequeath a love so true.
That was the day my eyes met yours:
My endless love for you.
