Lost For Evermore Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

Lost For Evermore

Rating: 5.0

I wonder how it’s done,
From now to Kingdom Come,
‘What’s done? ’ I say,
‘All things’ I say,
By me and everyone.

The things we do in Life,
In calm, without trouble or strife,
Are done for good,
We know they all should,
For there’s more than poetry in life.

We poets all agree,
That our poems are for all to see,
How we put our words,
Our thoughts and rhymes,
Are for all, both you and me.

Why do we write an encore?
Daily poems, more and more?
We write because ~
The Muse abounds ~
Lest it be lost for evermore.
