Lost And Found Poem by David Wood

Lost And Found

Rating: 5.0

We met only when our eyes
Fell in love

She was so gentle so kind
But love was lost

And it was all my fault the
Idiot in me

Then a lonely year in the
Wilderness of life

Often wondering how she is
Where she is

Remembering her smile her
Eyes her hair

But the flame never died it was
Only smouldering

So tentatively I entered her
World again

And something stirred deep
Within

Slowly what was once lost was
Softly and gently found

Wonderful poem David. It was like watching a movie. Lost love, slowly, softly and gently back into your arms
