Lost Poem by Cindy Wright

Lost

Strangers at first until you meet,
you sit and chat, sharing lifes experiences
and sometimes you even go out to eat.

Once you start getting to know one another time stands still,
no one around you in the private world you create.
Talking, laughing, sharing smiles,
Even when two people are separated by many miles.

We share emails, phone and video calls
getting lost in one another as we give it our all.

Soon two souls tiptoe towards love
the warrior soul bravely guiding his turtle dove.

Putting caution and fears of the past aside,
she takes his hand, letting him be the guide.

Seeing and talking to him, she is lost in his eloquent words
looks get lost in his sea green eyes
seeing soon they are in fact unchained love birds.
