Loss Of Love Poem by Wayne Ruff

Loss Of Love

When a man does loose his love
He can think of nothing else besides his love
from the softness of her gazing eyes
to the warmth of being between her thighs.

The days are long cold and lonley and i wonder to myself, if only
I catch a glimpse if the breaking day
why has my girl gone away

Give me a war so i can fight
to ease the pain to sleep at night
the winds of change have blown my way
change blow my girl back this way

so i am hard at work its an ongoing task
To fix whats broken, but its just a mask
but with needle and thread i bind the wound
no sleep tonight i bind the wound

Today like yesterday i miss my love
Thrown me away, she doesn't want my love
But with needle and thread i bind the wound
No sleep tonight, i bind the wound

Wound that of broken heart when will you mend,
Why art thy memorys that tare the thread
Where art thou corresses to stop whats bled
Broken hearts and broken dreams never seap into the seams
