Losing Her Poem by Heather Perry Heather Perry

Losing Her

My mind feels like
I've lost her.
My heart will barley
beat.

I see her when I close
my eyes and deep inside
I weep.

Her heart beating
against mine,
mine against hers.
I hope she knows
that she is my
whole world.

She gives me warmth
when she looks up at me
that I have to wipe a tear
when it falls from my
cheek.

My little one I know
you can't see how much
you mean to me.

I would go crazy if I lost you
now, my mind would be
gone I would lose it some
how.

Even though I see you,
you still feel gone when I
hear about the things you have
done all day long.

So in my heart I lost you
even though you're near.
But mommy will be
back so don't you
ever fear.

Lost things can
always be found one day
or another but I hope
it doesn't take to long
for I am your real mother.
