*lord, Lord, I Cannot See Poem by Gary Bryson

*lord, Lord, I Cannot See

Rating: 2.8

Lord, Lord, I cannot see,
The blind cried in the way.
Lord, Lord, please set me free,
Grant me my sight today.

'Oh sinful man, I hear your cries,
Should I restore your sight?
To view the day, yet still man dies,
For the soul can be dark as night.'

Nay Lord, I’ve seen, my faith is clear,
You have redeemed my soul.
Yet bless my eyes, I have no fear,
To follow whither I may be told.

'Yes open your eyes, see the light,
Behold the world of sin.
Be born again, your Faith shines bright,
It’s the sight you carry within.'
