Loons And Locos

Rating: 5.0

Those who think too much,
Can really never win,
Like Cervantes' 'Don Quijote'
They end up in the Looney Bin.

Ha ha! I love this. So true. Sometimes the more you think, the worse off....crazier you become. This is a little treasure. Love Don Quijote too...... I'm always running after windmills...in my mind.

He may have ended up in the loony bin but what an adventurous life our dear Don Quixote of the spavined steed and dreams or righting wrongs led. May all of us have a bit of Don Quixote in us- I think the earth would benefit as much for the attention given to his causes as the laughter he provides. I like this style of poetry- it fits what you do with them. Thank you, my dear Poetess, you always provide new ideas to mull over.

When I first saw the title in the new poems list, I knew I had to read this as I assumed it was my biography. It is! : -)
