Longing Poem by MBJ Pancras

Longing

Why did you enter my life, my darling?
Look, I weep when thou art not with me,
You came from else where and I've met thee,
Thou art no more a stranger unto me,
For my heart hath touched thy heart,
And I've learnt love from thee,
And love hath life that lasts ever.
Thou art in my world of love dwelling,
Thou might hide thy material presence,
But thou can never take thy heart from my heart,
And thou art dwelling in the breath of my verses.
Thou art a poem in my world of poetry,
And I adore beautiful poems,
And thou art a poem of beauty.
