Longhorn Pride Poem by John McCornack

Longhorn Pride

From a distance horizon... hoofs approach
Silently they move in their own special way
For they are the bovine royality of the range
And their long horns are on constant display

There continues to be excitement in the air
As the multi-colored icons graze side by side
For these are the true giants of the old west
As they are living statues to Longhorn Pride
