Long Lonely Night Is Over Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Long Lonely Night Is Over

Rating: 5.0

L-ong lonely night is over,
E-vening shadows are gone;
N-either eye will turn blind
I-n gazing at the
E-arly dawn.

A-fter the dark disappears
M-ay fifteenth day will break;
L-et the morn share the sun,
A-llowing it to mend the ache.
Z-enith soon will show up,
A-nother ray will shine;
N-ew light burns above to make you feel so fine.

B-ecause of the brightness,
O-pen skyline is fair;
D-ue to the glowing gleam
O-ne lane invites in the air.
T-wilight passes from view, yielding to the good weather;
A-n eve in black has faded, long lonely night is over.
