Live Forever Poem by Rachel Brewer

We are not going to live forever.
No matter how much we wish it,
And how much we desperately want to,
We will all die, sooner or later.
For most people it is much, much later,
But the odd wave of bad luck can make it happen now.
So you have to be ready.
If you are one of the unlucky ones,
You need to be prepared.
Make sure you do things sooner, not later.
Tell people you love them all the time, instead of on occasion.
Make sure you die happy,
With no regrets, or questions left unanswered.
You will be better off living your life now,
Than waiting, and finding out that you wont have the chance to.
We will not live forever.
So don’t try to.
Make the most of now and today,
Instead of wishing that it was yesterday all over again.
