Little Memory Poem by chip reed

Little Memory

her shadows make me think
her sunshine is dull and blunted
but i would have her anyway

as i stop from my blink
too stare into her face its bright red
she sleeps till the end of day

always going on about the brink
and never turning down in bed
she's there with lots too say

i miss her in that moment
i wish i could give it back
or have her back

but ive come to the conclusion that she's gone
and if wish my feelings for her where gone
i wish memories of her where gone

but her memories live on
this doesn't feel right
my insides ignite

there's one little moment
stands out by far
and words can't explain it
