Little Anna Poem by David Beckham

Little Anna

Rating: 5.0

Little Anna is her name
She is a little person but also the smartest in class
Wherever Little Anna went
People were sure to look with intent

Little Anna got on with life
Had a big heart and would always strife to help
When life was turbulent and rough
Like a real friend Little Anna was there to help

On the day Little Anna graduated
Little Anna got a huge surprise
The Mayor went down on his knees
And gave Little Anna a ring

The story spread out like wild fire
The ring caused such a huge stare
Little Anna once of a very poor home
Will now live in wealth and fame

Many years ago, the Mayors sister got hurt in a football game
Got paralyzed from waist down and would never walk again
The Mayor grew old himself with not a lot of help to him
And every time he needed help Little Anna was there for him

Neighbors heard of Little Anna's story and were moved to tears
One day, the Mayor met with Little Anna and said these things to her
'My sister can't do much to help me...
Thank you Little Anna for being a sister to me'

Little Anna grew old herself and never stopped believing in love
She wanted to help the world and kept taking classes
And so the day she graduated, she got a huge surprise
The Mayor went down on his knee and asked Little Anna to marry him

Reaping Good Karma Do unto others, as you would have them, do unto you, sealed with a grateful Amen! The fairy tale ending, the dream come true, is the hope, for a better life; for security, when our days are almost through, the resolution, life without strife! As we did unto others, in acts of selfless kindness; perhaps our own life, may happily end in eternal bliss!

Anecdote in poetic lines…here I find Anna first, ‘Thank you Little Anna for being a sister to me’ …next, ‘The Mayor went down on his knee and asked Little Anna to marry him’…total anticlimax…Little Anna indeed a character to be praised…but sister turned in would be wife a bit enigmatic to me…honestly speaking… thanks for sharing… Regards Ms. Nivedita UK 10/10
