Lines Suitable For A Eulogy. Poem by Mike Berriman

Lines Suitable For A Eulogy.

Although my body is lying here
I ask you now please save that tear.

I am free from my earthly ties
Rejoice with me and dry those eyes.

Towards the sun my face I lift
Thanking God I have spent my gift.

Remember me as a gentle breeze
Caressing the earth and moving leaves.

MB 2/6/2016.

My thanks to you for your great love
No, not down there, I am above.
