Like Poison Poem by Beautiful Disaster

Like Poison

Rating: 4.8

Our silence is like poison so I let it drip through my veins as I think about you. No one gets it they just don’t understand no you were not my everything but you were a major and you crashed my heart not once but twice. You killed me you did exactly what everyone else always does you left. People wonder why I put up wall and your the perfect example why. No one ever sticks around all the people who are supposed to care don’t and your one of them I thought you cared but I guess you didn’t your a good actor cuz you really had me going you really made me think you cared and would always be there but it was all a joke to you I’m trying not to trip but that isn’t working I’m trying to say goodbye to what is no longer there between me and you but its just to hard so I guess for now I’ll just look at these four walls and remember what used to be.

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

It really hurts to remember what used to be, doesn't it? Really nice write, I love your diction.

My walls aren't four sided, but many exist to make up mazes...that's just how life feels at times...Awesomely executed theme...Love it XOXO

The walls are for our protection I think a must...how tall the walls determines the harm...tall walls have weeping holes we pour poison through lest we be harmed again.. :) ...iip
